Comment:  I can't say enough good things about Cory. She took compassionate care of me and was far more present than an OB would've been, issuing necessary checks to me while I was moving about the room and helping me improve my pushing. She was caring and competent.

Comment:  They were great, but I only saw them each once or twice. They weren't taking new patients when I first started going to Moritz (hospital bureaucracy). By the time I saw them I was 30 weeks. When my baby didn't turn, I ended up scheduling a c-section.

Comment:  REVIEW: All of the midwives that practice with Dr. Moritz were wonderful. All very nurturing, understanding of different philosophies, and took as much time as I needed during every visit. After delivery, each day the midwife on call at the hospital would come by to check on me, which felt very caring (even though I'm sure it was required!). INSURANCE Didn't have any problems Based on a October 2015 birth

Comment:  I second Coralie MacQueen and the midwives in the practice. Cory delivered my daughter in 2011 and was fabulous, very thorough and supportive. The practice was great all around except for long wait times since they are so busy :) And the staff at the birthing center was incredibly knowledgeable. When I delivered my second (at Methodist) I found myself thinking back to what I learned from them.

Comment:  Review Date: April 2012 REVIEW: I did not make it to the birthing center b/c my labor was too fast. However, I received all my prenatal care with the midwives and was on the phone with them during my labor. I often had to wait 30 mins or so for a scheduled appt. However, I really apprecINSURANCE ISSUES: They do take insurance. I had no problem with the billing/claims filing. They take insurance. No problems with billing. Comment:  Review Date: April 2012 REVIEW: I wanted a midwife that delivered at SLR and took my insurance and they did. It is a busy practice and although it would have been nice to have a practioner that had less patients they were helpful and lovely. I had a great birth with Cory.INSURANCE ISSUES: yes and everything went well
