Comment:  Consider DuJour, on 5th Ave between 5th and 6th Street. Very nice neighborhood woman-owned place that has stayed open but struggling badly during the lockdown. I am sure they would be happy to bake up a custom order and arrange delivery. They bake their own scones and I bet they clot their own cream.

Comment:  Du Jour Bakery on 5th Avenue between 5th and 6th Streets can absolutely make the best tasting Paw Patrol birthday cake you've ever seen! The owners are lovely to work with and will help you with the design if you don't exactly know what you want it to look like!I've used them for a couple of cakes, cupcakes and other catering needs (quiches and breakfast pastries for an after wedding brunch I hosted) and have always had a fantastic experience!

Comment:  I highly recommend du jour bakery because their stuff tastes great; it’s a local business; and the owners are wonderful people who always donate to local nonprofits. They’ll do any custom orders. I ordered plain white frosted cookies in a shape I wanted (monkeys, for an Asian zodiac thing) and you can buy edible markers (cheaper at party city than at Amazon) and let kids “decorate” / draw on their own cookies. At Christmas time dujour does a decorating gingerbread cookies set with fresh cookies and royal icing pre-piped into a bag, so you could also ask about that, too.

Comment:  Du Jour on 5th Avenue between 5th and 6th streets makes incredible cakes! They can do a variety of designs - I’m sure Elmo would be easy for them - and the cakes themselves are always delicious! We order our son’s birthday cake there every year and have always been pleased. The owners, Vera and TJ, are also really nice to work with as you are settling on your design. You can see samples of their work on their Facebook page and I believe on Instagram as well.(On 27-Jan-2018)
