Comment:   She's in Manhattan, W 50s- really great. I saw her from my mid to late 20s and she really saved me. Not sure how she is with children but I could imagine her being really great for kids, too. Good luck....Review submitted July 2016

Comment:  She's not in the area but Jodi Karp of Womens Therapy Center Institute (Manhattan) is great. http://www.wtci-nyc.org/ I like to think she "cured" me of binge eating about 10 years ago after dealing with it for a lifetime. Never thought it was possible. There are several therapists who practice within WTIC (don't let the "Women's" in the title scare him off. I am sure they could be very helpful for your husband regardless.) not sure but maybe there is a therapist more local. In the meantime, your husband should pick up the book "She's not in the area but Jodi Karp of Womens Therapy Center Institute (manhattan) is great. http://www.wtci-nyc.org/ I like to think she "cured" me of binge eating about 10 years ago after dealing with it for a lifetime. Comment:  Type of Therapy: Counseling Location:Midtown East Sex of Therapist: F Client Base: Adults (individual therapy), Couples, Special Needs the therapist meets? Don't know REVIEW: I have been seeing my therapist weekly for close to 7 years and highly recommend her. I go to her for general issues, but she has also counseled me through the loss of a parent. She is very down to earth, has great bedside manner, and is level-headed. She does not push her ideas on me, but I like that she gives me her opinions about things rather than simply repeating back to me how I feel or just asking more questions. I feel very comfortable with her, and feel I would want to be friends with her if I met her in a different life. Insurance Issues: No, but I am able to submit claims to my insurance for reimbursement. I have BC&BS.
