Comment:  I'm not sure how Jewish an experience you're looking for but we love the JCC in Clinton Hill. They are open to all but celebrate all Jewish holidays, shabbat, learn some Hebrew, have volunteers from Israel, etc. We are not Jewish and I would say the ratio is about 50/50. Our daughter started attending for summer camp last year and has been going for after care/whenever public schools are closed. We love it- I wish we had found them earlier.

Comment:  My son is at the JCC Clinton Hill, currently in the infant-toddler room. We started in October and have been very happy with it. The program starts at age 1 so it is unfortunately not an option for younger babies. It is a small, warm environment with a nice community of parents, and the teachers are attentive, caring, and attuned to the kids’ development and unique needs. I have been so impressed with everyone, including the director, Irina, who has had a long career in early childhood education and is extremely knowledgeable. I’m eagerly looking ahead to the day we can say this pandemic is behind us, but for now the school has implemented robust health protocols to keep the community safe.

Comment:  Hi, we recently enrolled our 19-month old son at the JCC in Clinton Hill. He’s in the half-day program 5 days a week, but they’re flexible and have part-week options. It’s a small, warm, child-centered environment and we’ve been really happy with it.

Comment:  Age of child: 3.5Comment: Our child really enjoyed this camp, it was like a modified preschool, but the teachers were super nice, they had a lot of activities and took great care of him. They shared daily photos which looked great as well. What would you change about the program, if anything, and why? Nothing

Subject:  Thoughts on Regina's Daycare (Bergen St) or Clinton Hill JCC?
Comment:  My daughter has been at the JCC Clinton Hill for the past two years, and we absolutely love it. It is such a warm and loving environment. Irina, the head of it, has built a true community of families and teachers. The classrooms are bright and welcoming, there is good communication with parents, and the school leadership is responsive. We have been at a few different preschools over the years between our two kids, and JCC Clinton Hill is by far our favorite. We will be sad to leave next year!
