Comment:  I highly recommend the Co-op school in bed stuy. Loving and nurturing environment, emphasis on play and joy, and overall a great community to be a part of.

Comment:  My daughter has learned so much at Co-Op. The school is up to date with all the latest educational trends and progressive values. They spend a lot of time on social emotional curriculum, but the pre-literacy and pre-math learning is totally there - your kid won't even notice how much they're learning but you will. The new facility is really beautiful and has a lot of potential. The teachers and staff really care about what they're doing and everyone knows the name of every child, even the ones not in their class. The online communication platform is really useful and the other families we have met there are really great. We are really glad this school exists as it perfectly meets our needs for an affordable but top-notch school. … About the facility: Has outdoor space, Has afterschool options, Has early morning hours … What would you change? I wish we didn't have to do so much fundraising events, but that's what keeps the school affordable.

Comment:  Community oriented 2/3s program. Our child never seemed that interested in the program. I would not send again because a) school is now too far and b) our classrooms were shut for +2 months due to building code violations … About the facility: Has outdoor space, Has afterschool options, Has early morning hours, Provides meals … What would you change? Management should be more respectful of parents. Would have preferred more engaged teachers -often seemed apathetic

Comment:  A fluid, progressive, and creative curriculum. Teacher are well trained, enthusiastic and supportive. The new building is gorgeous. They do a lot of fundraising to support financial aid. Share pictures and written summary of day. Study important leaders. Have class pets. Lot of toys and activities for choice time. Music and movement classes. Overall a great experience. All parents must do coop shifts and / or serve on a committee as part of cooperative mission. Affordable for private school as a result. … About the facility: Has outdoor space, Has afterschool options, Has early morning hours, Provided snacks, has indoor gym and library … What would you change? transportation options (they tried but it didn’t work out for this year, maybe next year)
