the blog is entertaining

I have sent my dog to Glencadia a number of times and I love it. I even look at the blog when my dog is not there, just watching the seasons pass in the country from time to time, looking in on Will's kids playing with dogs, seeing what's new up in the boonies. My dog leaps into the van and we're all set. Great thing. Thanks.

highly recommend Glencadia Farms -
http://glencadia.com/ - great great great!!!!!! - My dogs love to go - nothing but great things - Check out the website and you can call or email Will for more info He comes to your house for pick up and drop off (no extra charge) on Mondays and Thursday - Last time I used him he was 30 a day. The dogs get to run free on the farm - much better than being stuck in a kennel by New Anonymous

We have used Glencadia several times for our lab and are very pleased
with it. He has gone several times for weekends and a couple times for longer stays. He seems to love it - jumps in the van happily when Will (the owner) comes to pick him up. We get pictures and videos of him while he's there and he's always running around and having a great time. The dogs get tons of excercise and attention. We know other people from the park that also happily send their dogs there. Two things to note - Don't send your dog with a favorite leash - the leashes sometimes get confused and your dog may come back with a different leash than s/he left with. Also, pick up and drop off times really are estimates - Will has sometimes come/dropped off earlier (he always calls to check that you're home) or later than he says he will in his email. Free pick up and delivery in Brooklyn and they spend the weekend playing in the country. Digital pictures in your email to see your dog
while you're away. (Comment added July 2005) |
