Park Slope Parents is an online and in-person membership community.  Thousands of families in and around Park Slope use our email lists and website to discuss parenting in Brooklyn and to find out about local services.   Park Slope Parents is the primary source of information for Park Slope families regarding parenting choices and has been featured in the New York Times, New York Magazine, ABC Channel 7 News, The New York Sun, local blogs and more.    Park Slope Parents is an active community that is committed to buying local and supporting local businesses and service providers.  By advertising with PSP you can reach over 5000 members as well as visitors to our publicly accessible website.  

 

Posting an Ad to Our Members

A commercial post on our Advice/Discussion list goes into the inboxes of all of our members who choose to receive email, and appears on our members-only Yahoo!Groups archive, as well.  Although Commercial Posts are one-shot advertisements, their penetration makes them ideal for announcing classes, camp openings, events, and anything else which requires instant visibility for your offerings.

 

Commercial Posts are typically up to 40 lines of text and up to 1,500 characters. Subject line should be no more than 50 characters. Graphics are not available.  Pricing is $125 per Commercial Post.

Pricing on Focus Group and Casting Notice is up to the discretion of Park Slope Parents and my be higher.

 

Sole proprietorships and other small businesses who feel they cannot afford $125 can write to to request a discount. 501(c)3 not-for-profit organizations and certified educational organizations are eligible to receive one free post per calendar quarter.  Subsequent posts per calendar quarter are $25 each.  Click
