PSP has two separate email lists, where much of the membership action happens:  the Advice/Discussion List and the Classifieds List.  Both are run by Yahoo!Groups.  You can choose to be a member of either or both lists, and you can choose to receive emails or just to read them on the web.  You need to be a member of Park Slope Parents to be a member of our lists and you need to be a member of the lists to post.  When you applied for membership in PSP, we asked you which groups you wanted to be in and enrolled you in them.

To post to the Advice/Discussion list, send an email message to:

Make sure you send it from the email address that's enrolled in the group.

Which list should you post to?  If you're  looking to buy, sell, give away, or for any posts looking for a nanny/babysitter or advertising the availability of your nanny/babysitter, use the classifieds list.  Also, any help wanted or other job announcements go on classifieds.

Questions about parenting, discussion topics, solicitations for recommendations for local businesses and service providers (other than nanny/babysitter) go on the Advice/Discussion list.
