IMPORTANT: Changes to Yahoo! Groups

Yahoo! is in the process of changing much of their Yahoo! Groups infrastructure.  The interface looks cooler but some there are some functionality issues that aren't working well AT THIS TIME. However, we are hopeful that despite initial glitches, the change will result in a better platform for all to enjoy.

Update: How to Reply to Sender in Yahoo!'s Group Interface

Yahoo! has updated the reply box on the web interface of the Group. This does not affect those of you who reply via email/ digest.

Here is a step by step guide on how to reply to the individual sender via the web interface with this new update.

If you want to reply privately, you'll need to follow below steps:

1. On the group Page click on "CONVERSATIONS"

2. view the posts as  "MESSAGES"

3. Find the message you want to reply to in the in the "MESSAGES" list

4. Open the message up and click the purple "REPLY" Button which will open up the reply window

5. Click the two downwards arrows on the far left of the reply box to expand headers. This will reveal a drop down menu from which you can select the recipient of your reply.

6. Select the recipient from the drop down menu, compose your message and click send.
