Comment:  U Santini, on 15th street. Over the years, we've used them for two local moves and storage before our home was ready to move into. Dan is the man at U Santini.

Comment:  We just used U. Santini to move over the weekend and they were amazing. They packed and moved us, and were professional, courteous, friendly, and took good care of our stuff. I've used other, bigger movers before and the movers just don't care - they throw boxes and aren't careful taking furniture around corners. In the past I've had things ruined, but not with U. Santini. They are quick but careful. They were so efficient I could not believe how fast we got moved in. And, the cherry on top was that our final charge - with packing and everything - was less than HALF the estimate they had given us! When does that ever happen? Not only would I recommend them but if we ever move again I am definitely hiring them.

Comment:  Wwe found that U. Santini (based on 15th St., I think) was cheaper than some of the specialized piano movers, and they did a perfectly good job (about $300). (I should mention, fyi, that we had bought a 20-year old piano that was beautiful but already had some sort of crack in it, so we thought it would be fine for our 7-year-old (and it is). I suppose if I were moving a priceless heirloom, I might stick with a piano mover)

Comment:  I would highly recommend U.Santini. They've been around forever (based in Park Slope) and they are family owned and trustworthy. (September, 2010).
