Comment:  Age of Child: 9 Likes: My daughter attends Park Slope Montessori and is excited to go every morning. The program incorporates fun and educational themes that my daughter really enjoys and talks a lot about when we are at home. What would you change? The only thing I would change is the hours... I wish it was a full time program. Would you send your child(ren) again? Yes Do you recommend? Highly recommend

Comment:  Park Slope Montessori (formerly Brainy Academy) Program: Length of time: 2 days Child’s Age: 2-3 years3-4 years4-5 yearsType of facility: Privately run daycare/preschool with multiple classes and teachersREVIEW: This program really is so wonderful. It's a Montessori program that has both a 2's class and a mixed age classroom for the 3+ crowd. From the warm and engaging teachers to the administration that is flexible and invested in making it a positive experience for both the children and the parents, I was regularly impressed. My son started in the 2's class and it helped facilitate a gentle separation, so that by the time he went to preschool, the transition was seamless. There are videos so parents can observe the classroom from a comfortable waiting area. There was daily communication with the teachers and if any issues arose, they were also collaborative. The variety of age appropriate activities ensures that the kids are never bored or doing the same thing every class. My son eagerly anticipated going to school and his development was truly fostered there. I couldn't have asked for a better early education experience.Would you recommend? Highly recommendWould you send your child again? Absolutely

I was very concerned that she would have a hard time separating from me, but their Gentle Separation program worked like a charm. I love that we had the flexibility of only sending her a few times per week for a few hours. She got to socialize and learn and it wasn't as overwhelming as a full day program would have been. Very warm and caring staff. Awesome curriculum that truly focuses on her developmental needs and interests.Would you recommend? Highly recommendWould you send your child again? Absolutely

We are so happy with our experience at Park Slope Montessori. We left a free UPK program last year because our son was too bored there. He loved coming to PSM every day. They kept him busy, challenged him daily and made sure that he was learning and growing. We also did their Gifted and Talented prep course and got into our #1 choice BSI. I could not be happier and highly recommend.Would you recommend? Highly recommendWould you send your child again? Absolutely
