Subject:  Shout out for great family photographer!
Comment:  I just wanted to give a shout out to a wonderful family photographer, Eliza Brown. My family did a session with her a few months back, and the entire experience was amazing. She was incredibly flexible on setting it up, and did it the way we wanted it - very naturally in the park. She captured fabulous pictures of my 3 year-old playing baseball and my 18 month-old chasing him around. Honestly, my older boy hates taking pictures and she managed to get some amazing shots. And, finally we have some good family shots!! We ordered a book and some prints, but she also has some great innovative options available for purchase.I have no connection to Eliza's business, other than being a satisfied customer and friend.(March 2014)

Comment:  Eliza Brown is great for family (including newborn) photography. Eliza photographed our family when my daughter had just turned 3 and my son was 3 months old. Eliza captured the most amazing images of each of my children and of our family interacting together. She was patient with the kids and with me and my many requests for specific things I wanted to do in an attempt to replicate shots another photographer had taken of my daughter when she was a newborn. We ended up with a selection of beautiful staged and natural pictures.

Comment:  We had a wonderful experience with photographer Eliza Brown of "Eliza's Eye" when my son Nicholas was about 2 weeks old. Eliza captured photos of our family in natural poses -- at times I forgot we were in the middle of a photo shoot! She is understanding, calm and respectful of the baby's needs. Here is a link to her blog post on her website about our shoot:http://elizaseye.com/?p=1685 (where you can also link to her contact info / more info about her business).Eliza has also been accommodating and more than helpful in creating a photo album and picking our canvas and print -- I recommend her to those of you looking for a newborn shoot!

Comment:  Strong recommendation for Eliza Brown at Eliza's Eye (http://elizaseye.com/). You can see from her portfolio (and its maternity and newborns section) that she does really real shoots of babies and families, catching people as they are but at their best and doing extensive post-shoot work to make the images really stunning. She doesn't do a lot of posing, which I think would work particularly well for a hospital shoot because you're kind of tired (forgive me if you already have kids and know this, or if it's obvious anyway) and don't really want to devote your energy to putting your baby and your family in all different kinds of positions--and you may not even want others touching the baby.(2/2012)
