Comment:  I want to second the poster's positive review of Homebody from a couple of weeks ago. Based on her recommendation, I checked out Homebody and it's a great store. We bought some large hand blown glasses that are both beautiful, durable, and affordable! There were many other locally handcrafted gifts that were reasonably priced. The owner was very friendly and gave us a a free sample of some soap she is thinking of ordering and asked us to try it out and let her know what we thought.I want to reiterate that I have no relationship to the business or the owner. I want to support local businesses and spread the word about this one.(April, 2010)

Comment:  Lovin' this newish local business: Homebody Boutique on 7th Ave, between 15th & 16th st. Just wanted to give a 2 thumbs up shout out for a wonderful, struggling, very friendly business w/ awesome merchandise. I don't know the owner and never knew the place existed until today because it's passed where I usually walk. They have housewares, decor, jewelry, etc, many handcrafted and from local artists. The aesthetic of many items are in the vein of Anthropologie (one of my fav. stores). Worth the walk, if you don't live that far south. Love what I bought there & plan to shop there for future gifts. Just a reminder to support great local stores with friendly service (because sometimes I need a reminder to do that instead of ordering things online). The store's website: http://www.homebodyboutique.com. * I just posted this "review" on yelp.com, hoping to get the word out. If you like a local business & want it to stay around, take a minute & get the word out; I don't do it near enough. > > Just a happy customer that doesn't want this great local business to go bye bye(APRIL, 2010)
